Join us at the University of Arkansas Community College at Hope-Texarkana, in Hempstead Hall for the Advocacy Takes Action Mock Vote. This event will ensure you gain the education, knowledge, and skill to take an active role in our nation’s voting system and become a V.I.T.A.L. Champion. Voting is a right and a responsibility. Come, and learn the details of an active role you can take to bring forth change in your community
Community of Champions is giving all individuals the tools to stay V.I.T.A.L.
Vote. Include. Talk. Accept. Language.
With these educational tools, you will learn how to be a V.I.T.A.L Champion for yourself or your peers. Advocacy Takes Action!
Brought to you by Community of Champions, a project supported by the Governor’s Council on Developmental Disabilities Arkansas through a grant to Friendship Community Care. We’re Building a Community of Champions!
The Community of Champions is a grassroots effort to coordinate people around Arkansas to work together with parent-advocates and self-advocates to ensure that the needs and issues of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) are supported.
