National Family Caregivers Month 2025

Each year, in November, we recognize and honor family caregivers. It offers an opportunity to raise awareness of caregiving issues, educate communities, and increase support for caregivers. Families are the primary source of support for older adults and people with disabilities in the U.S.

This year, during 2025 National Family Caregivers Month, the theme is “Plug-in to Care.”

This November, join us in recognizing family caregivers across the country. the Caregiver Action Network’s 2025 theme, Plug-in to Care, focuses on connection—helping caregivers easily “plug in” to vital support tools, trusted networks, and educational resources that can make the caregiving journey less overwhelming and more supported.

In November, we also promote awareness about respite and its importance in the lives of caregivers and care recipients.
