GCDD-ASU Restore Hub Listening Session

You are invited to our listening sessions in Jonesboro at the ASU RESTORE Hub on August 29th!

WHEN? 08/29/2025 (*two session options)
afternoon session at 3 PM – 4:30 PM
* evening session at 6 PM – 7:30 PM

WHY? To hear your concerns and needs. The Council is preparing to develop our next five-year plan of activities. We are traveling across Arkansas to listen and learn where our efforts are most needed.

The Council’s focus is to improve the independence and productivity of Arkansans with disabilities and to ensure their integration into the community. With these sessions, we hope to identify the most pressing needs of the intellectual and developmental disability community in our state. The information we gather will guide our strategic plans to address those needs. Your input is vital to focus our efforts exactly where Arkansas needs them.




Our Host on August 29th is the Arkansas State University’s RESTORE Hub.


About the Restore Hub

The RESTORE (Research, Education, Service, Transition and Outreach through Reflective Engagement) Hub strives to improve the quality of life for all communities through services, research, education, innovation, and collaboration. RESTORE is partnering with the Arkansas Department of Human Services (DHS) on four initiatives aimed at supporting the Arkansas disability community.
