Disability Resources? You’ll find them at the Bistro! Join PAC for this expo & conference to learn lots of things related to having a child with a disability. There will be breakout sessions and vendor booths.

The Governor’s Council will hold 2 listening sessions at this event. The Council’s goal is to improve the independence and productivity of Arkansans with disabilities and to ensure their integration into the community. With these listening sessions, we will identify the most pressing needs of the intellectual and developmental disability community in our state. The information we gather will guide our strategic plans to address those needs. Your input is vital to focus our efforts exactly where Arkansas needs them.

  • Session 1 at 2:20 PM – 3:50 PM
  • Session 2 at 5:30 PM – 7 PM

This event is hosted by the Parent Advisory Council CMS, Inc.

The Parent Advisory Council (PAC) was founded in March 1990. The purpose of the PAC was to give parent input and to make Title V Children’s with Special Health Care Needs (CSHCN) family-friendly.  They became a 501c (3) in 1995. The purpose of that was to seek funding to help in advocacy/education activities. They are a diverse group of parents and guardians of children with special health care needs and are committed to advocacy and educating other families, government agencies and health care professionals.

The mission of the PAC is to serve as a liaison between the families of children with special health care needs and existing resources.
