The swearing-in of Sarah Huckabee Sanders as the 47th Governor of Arkansas takes place Tuesday, January 10th, at 12:00 PM on the steps of the Arkansas State Capitol in Little Rock. Sanders is the first woman to be elected governor of the State of Arkansas. The event is free and open to the public.

The Regular Session of the 94th General Assembly convenes on Monday, January 9, 2023. Bill filing began on Tuesday, November 15, 2022.

The GCDD Administrative office is closed to observe the New Year’s Day holiday on Monday, 01/02/2023. State offices will open at 8 am on Tuesday, 01/03/2023.
